One of the great aspects of LHS is our parent community. This was clearly evident last week and today at parent teacher conferences. It is so wonderful to see parents who clearly take an active role in their student's lives and to make sure that they are working to potential. It was as equally gratifying to see parents who have students in multiple AP or honors classes who came to hear teachers speak highly about their child as it was to see the parent working with teachers to see how we could intervene with struggling students.
LHS is an awesome place and that is due to the fact that we have parents who care about their children's education, respect our teachers and are willing to take the time to come and understand what it is that we do here each day.
