Staff sets their sights on Route 66
Today officially kicked off the LHS staff fitness challenge named "Route 66." A group of teachers, led by PE teacher Sam Mills, have been gathering to work out after school. This idea inspired Associate Principal Liz Mosher and office para-professional Jeanine Roberto to start a fitness challenge. The challenge is for teams of staff members to race across the country on Route 66. With 53 staff members signed up, 7 teams will be competing to be the first to California. With every 10 minutes of work out equaling 1 mile traveled, the competition to finish first should be intense. In case you wonder who is in the lead, weekly updates will appear on a giant map in the staff lounge. Best of luck to all those competing and thank you to the staff for their commitment to collaboration and comraderie.
